Heather loves Genealogy and old family photos.  Here is what she has learned of our families.

This is Heather's Paternal great-great grandfather (George Olmstead).
This is Heather's paternal great grandfather as a baby (Harry Fitch Olmstead Sr.). The older boy is her paternal great uncle (David Olmstead).
This is Heather's  paternal great grandfather (Harry Fitch Olmstead Sr.) in his W.W.I uniform.
This is Heather's paternal grandfather (Harry Fitch Olmstead II) as a boy.  He just turned 80 years old.

This is Heather's father (Harry Fitch Olmstead III) as a boy.
This is Heather's brother (Harry Fitch Olmstead IV) as a baby.  He is 23 now.
Here Is Harry IV at about 5.
Here is Heather (Heather Fitch Olmstead) at about 5 years old.  She was the first girl born in 8 generations of Olmsteads.  For those of you wondering about the names: the Olmsteads are a very old family.  Family legend has it that they came over on the Mayflower.   They lived in Norwalk, Connecticut until  about 10 years ago.  Anyway, the legend is that an Olmstead married a Fitch (another prominent Connecticut family.  George Fitch was the governor of Connecticut and sent troops to Boston to help with the tea-party.).  The Fitch was the wife, and being the blue-bloods they were and not wanting to waste a good name, they made it their children's middle name.  And so it has been ever since.  Don't ask Heather where the "Harry" came from.  She has no idea.
Here is Heather's maternal great grandparent's wedding (Hilda nee ? and Albert Hartwig).  The first two bridesmaids were her sisters (Louisa and Noretta).  Unfortunately Noretta passed away at a young age.  Heather's grandmother was named for Louisa and Noretta (Mildred Louisa Noretta Hartwig).
